First Hospitality, a national hotel operating and development company, announces the promotion of two hospitality veterans to key roles on its corporate team: John Brosnan to vice president of sales, and Geri Lombard to regional vice president of operations.
As the newly appointed vice president of sales, Brosnan is responsible for leading and overseeing all sales strategies at First Hospitality. He will work closely with the on-property sales directors to develop top sales talent, and strategic sales plans to generate top-line revenue and exceed booking goals. Previously, Brosnan served as the regional vice president of sales since 2022 and joined First Hospitality in 2018 as regional director of sales.
“John is a dedicated, results-driven professional with a proven track record,” said Jenna Fishel, senior vice president of commercial strategy. “This well-earned advancement speaks to his many talents and leadership skills.”
In her new role as regional vice president of operations, Lombard will oversee First Hospitality’s portfolio of properties in the Louisville market, including the Tempo by Hilton Nulu (opening late 2023), Hilton Garden Inn Louisville, 8Up Drinkery & Kitchen, Home2 Suites Nulu, Hancock House, Henry Clay Event Center, and the soft-branded property, Hotel Elsby, which is currently under development in New Albany, Indiana. Most recently, Lombard served as the area general manager at several of First Hospitality’s Ohio-based properties, including the highly awarded Hotel LeVeque in Columbus. She joined First Hospitality in 2017 as the opening general manager of the Hotel LeVeque.

“Geri has been instrumental to the success of our property portfolio in Columbus, and we are confident she’ll bring the same passion and achievements to the greater Louisville market,” said Chris Lorino, senior vice president of operations. “Her ability to motivate management teams is unmatched,” he continued.
